Our History
ArB Tree Care Ltd traces its roots back to 2002 when it was founded in Staffordshire by Anthony Bethell, a passionate forest graduate and a full qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters. As a registered Chartered Arboriculturist,and professional member of the Arboricultural Association Anthony’s dedication to trees and the environment has been the driving force behind our company’s success. From the very beginning, he envisioned a tree surgery and forestry company that would not only provide exceptional services but also champion the cause of “considerate arboriculture” promoting both conservation and future “greening”.
As the Managing Director of ArB Tree Care Ltd, Anthony lead by example for many years, rolling up his sleeves and working alongside the team in the field. His hands-on approach and wealth of knowledge have been instrumental in fostering a close-knit team of skilled professionals who share his love for trees and the great outdoors. As the company has grown, so has Anthony’s role and nowadays he is often found spending a lot of time with clients creating bespoke solutions for their tree requirements, as well as undertaking the day-to-day management of the company.
Over the years, our expertise has grown to encompass all aspects of tree work, ranging from undertaking complicated hazardous tree removals and precise tree pruning on historic veteran trees, whilst as always maintaining an element of new tree planting. As the company’s skill set has grown, so has the amount of specialist equipment it has invested in. ArB now currently operates a number of agricultural and forestry tractors, equipped with full guarding and roof mounted timber cranes, whole tree chippers that can also produce biomass wood fuel chip, specialist roadside verge/hedge mowing equipment, radio controlled banks mowers, various forestry timber winches, a number of mobile elevated work platforms (cherry pickers- both vehicle and track mounted), a Menzi Muck spider excavator with tree shears and forest mulchers, and a wide variety of other attachments plus many other items of specialist plant.
But our commitment doesn’t stop there. At ArB Tree Care Ltd, we recognize the significance of sustainable tree and woodland management. We believe that responsible management is crucial for preserving the natural balance and fostering biodiversity in our landscapes. Through our consultancy services, we share our knowledge and passion for arboriculture and forestry, guiding our clients in making informed decisions to protect and care for their green assets.
