We believe that great tree work starts with a great team. That’s why we regularly invest in training, development and hands-on learning to make sure our staff have the skills, knowledge and confidence to carry out work safely and professionally.

As summer came to an end, we brought the ARB team together for a dedicated training day giving everyone the opportunity to refresh their existing skills and learn more about our specialist equipment plus share knowledge and experience with each other.

Keeping Skills fresh and Training with Our Specialist Equipment

There is always something new to learn in the Arboriculture industry, from tree surgery and vegetation management to operating specialist machinery via landscaping. With a wide range of equipment and skill at our disposal we wanted to spend a day where to team could go back over important skills and to make sure everyone remains confident using the equipment every day. It was also a great chance for the team to learn from one another. With a wealth of experience across our workforce, sharing knowledge and practical tips helps us continually improve the way we work.

We have invested heavily in specialist machinery to help us carry out challenging tree and vegetation work efficiently and safely. Our fleet includes equipment such as our Menzi Muck A91F 4×4, Valtra T234 tractor, 4×4 MEWP, tracked chipper, unimog and much much more.

Making sure our team understands how to operate and work safely around this equipment is an important part of maintaining the high standards we expect on every job. Practical training allows our team to build to understand the capabilities of different machines and ensure equipment is being used correctly for the task at hand.

And Of Course… There Had to Be a BBQ!

No ARB training day would be complete without some food!

After putting in the hard work throughout the day the team finished off with a well-earned BBQ feast. It was a great opportunity to relax, catch up and enjoy some time together away from the usual day-to-day work.

Building a strong team is about more than just training and qualifications. We believe that having a positive team environment, sharing experiences and looking out for one another all contribute to a successful workforce.
